Holistic Healing Through Grief, Deathwork & Nature Connection

Grief Counseling and Deathwork

I am a death doula, grief counselor, and retreat facilitator devoted to walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate loss, transition, and the tender terrain of grief. My work is rooted in the belief that death and grief are sacred, human experiences that deserve presence and compassionate support.

As a death doula, I offer steady guidance before, during, and after death supporting emotional, spiritual, and practical needs while honoring each person’s values, beliefs, and rhythms. I create space for honest conversations, legacy reflection, ritual, and meaning-making, helping loved ones feel less alone during profoundly vulnerable moments.

My grief counseling practice centers on trauma-informed, somatic, and heart-centered approaches. Grief is not something to “fix,” but something to be witnessed, felt, and integrated over time. I support clients through anticipatory grief, sudden loss, complicated grief, and life transitions, honoring the many ways grief shows up in the body, mind, and spirit.

Through grief retreats, I offer immersive, restorative experiences in nature that invite rest, reflection, and communal healing. These retreats weave together ritual, gentle movement, mindfulness, creative expression, nature connection, and guided grief practices, allowing participants to reconnect with themselves and others in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.

My intention is to normalize grief, soften fear around death, and cultivate spaces where people feel held, seen, and supported. It is an honor to companion others as they move through loss and rediscover meaning, resilience, and connection in their own time and way.

Offering online and in-person support for grief counseling, grief retreats, and death doula to walk beside you through change, challenge and beauty.

Ecopsychology

Ecopsychology: Healing the Self Through Connection with Nature

At the heart of ecopsychology is a simple yet profound truth: we are not separate from nature, we are nature. When we reconnect with the natural world, we remember something essential within ourselves. Ecopsychology bridges psychology, ecology, and spirituality to support healing, resilience, and a deeper sense of belonging.

What is Ecopsychology?

Ecopsychology explores the relationship between human well-being and the health of the Earth. It recognizes that many of the emotional, psychological, and spiritual challenges we face are intertwined with disconnection from our bodies, from each other, and from the natural world.

Through conscious reconnection with nature, ecopsychology invites a return to balance. It supports healing not only on an individual level, but also within the collective and ecological systems we are part of.

A Path of Remembering

Many traditional approaches to healing emphasize cognitive understanding, talking through problems, analyzing thoughts, or trying to reframe experiences. While these methods can be helpful, they often overlook the role of the nervous system and the body’s stored responses.

Somatic healing shifts the focus.

This work may include:

  • Mindful presence in natural environments
  • Sensory awareness and grounding practices
  • Nature-based rituals and reflection
  • Expressive arts inspired by the elements
  • Somatic awareness in outdoor settings

These practices gently guide you back into a relationship—with your body, your inner landscape, and the living world around you.

The Healing Power of Nature

Nature has an innate capacity to regulate and restore. Time spent in natural environments has been shown to reduce stress, support emotional balance, and enhance clarity and creativity. In ecopsychology, nature is not just a backdrop; it is an active participant in the healing process.

The wind, the water, the trees, and the earth each offer reflection, mirroring, and support. When we engage with nature intentionally, we begin to experience ourselves as part of a larger, interconnected whole.

Who This Work is For

Ecopsychology is especially supportive for those navigating:

  • Life transitions such as divorce, motherhood, or grief
  • Burnout, overwhelm, or anxiety
  • A longing for deeper meaning or connection
  • Creative blocks or emotional stagnation

It is also for anyone who feels called to deepen their relationship with the Earth and live with greater presence and intention.
